== Demeanor ==
Ehran is described as being over two meters tall, with a square jaw and piercing green eyes. He appears to be a middle aged elf, though a bit older than he should be. He is described as charismatic, convincing, with an air of sophistication and refinement. He is regularly found dressed very stylishly, often in Japanese or Spanish designer suits<ref>Harlequin, Tom Dowd/Sam Lewis ''et al'', 1990, 1996, FASA Corporation, © FASA Corporation</ref>.

== Background ==
Not much is known of Ehran before he appeared in Portland during the events of the Sixth Age. He is involved with events directly and indirectly from the 2050's on, particularly with [[Harlequin]]. He is widely known for his book, Humanity Ascended, which introduced the theory of the cycles of magic to the greater world, for which he won a Pulitzer Prize.

As events proceed in the Sixth World, it is revealed he has a daughter, [[Jane "Frosty" Forester,]] who becomes a pawn in a ''[[chal'han]]'' between himself and Harlequin. He was known to be a [[High Prince]] of [[Tir Tairngire]], and maintained a heavily secured property on Mount Saint Helens, named Althain.

He was close acquiantences with Dunkelzahn, receiving several bequeaths and mentions in his [[Dunkelzahn's Will|Will]]<ref>Portfolio of a Dragon: Dunkelzahn's Secrets, Michael Mulvhill ''et al'', 1996, FASA Corporation, © FASA Corporation</ref>. In the events that followed, he stepped down from the Council of Princes, taking his current role with the DIMR. Subsequently, he was directly involved with the events surrounding the Artifacts, an at one point was in the possession of the Piri Reis Map. He was later present for the events at the Watergate Rift Bunker, when Ghostwalker closed the Dunkelzahn Rift<ref>Artifacts Unbound, Matt Heerdt ''et al'', 2011, Catalyst Game Labs, © Topps, Inc</ref>.
